I’m interested in purchasing a dress for my upcoming milestone birthday in Ghana. I have my measurements ready, but I’m wondering if the style can be altered to include a split — and whether that would still work well given the structured fabric.

Although I’ll be traveling to Ghana, I would really like to try the dress on before I leave. Would you recommend picking it up upon arrival so that any final alterations can be done there?

Since it’s a long, floor-length dress, I’ll also be wearing heels — so I’d like to make sure the length accounts for that.
